Priority Technologies, Inc. (PTI) established in 1995, is a leading provider of technology-based business solutions for the Federal Family Education Loan Program (FFELP) community. PTI helps FFELP organizations by providing world-class software solutions. PTI is currently looking for a subject matter expert in the financial aid industry to perform in a business and testing analyst role. Previous business analysis and testing experience would be a plus, but is not required. Analysts at PTI work with our clients to define new features for our software products and test that they function correctly. Additionally, they play a vital role in bridging the communication gap between our clients and software development teams. Their understanding of the industry brings important knowledge to the software development and maintenance process.


Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Use industry knowledge to influence the PTI software products and documentation.
  • Facilitate client discussions by providing discussion leadership, documenting issues, and driving the process to consensus and decision.
  • Suggest ideas and approaches for clients based on industry knowledge and experience.
  • Work with our clients to understand and define their business process.
  • Facilitate business process analysis and requirements gathering.
  • Convey and explain requirements to PTI developers.
  • Define, document, and manage client requirements.
  • Build software testing plans, cases, scripts, and data.
  • Perform software testing and validation.
  • Review and provide input to user help documentation.
  • Represent our client’s perspective throughout the software development process.
  • Build and maintain an excellent client relationship by playing the role of PTI representative and primary business contact for the client.
  • Represent the company by getting involved with industry organizations and initiatives.
  • Cultivate relationships with our clients and communicate, on a regular basis, to ensure that their needs are being met.


  • Qualifications and Skills:

  • Relevant experience (2+ years) in the financial aid industry.
  • Ability to respond promptly and effectively to changing work environments, priorities, and new situations.
  • Trouble shooting skills, including analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Excellent documentation skills.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Knowledge of MS Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Experience with software requirements gathering, analysis, and documentation is a plus.
  • Experience with software test planning and testing is a plus.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
