The Gap
Applying new skills can be more difficult than learning them in the classroom. Often, frustration sets in as engineers have difficulty in using new technology to meet real-life business requirements.

The Bridge
To close the gap between training and application, PTI offers the Peer-to-Peer Mentoring™ program. This program combines customized instruction with practical application in an actual business project. Instruction is followed immediately by the development of a client project. Expert mentors work one-on-one or in small groups with recently trained engineers to provide constructive feedback and to ensure quality development.

Mentoring Just-In-Time
Training, mentoring, and evaluation are scheduled throughout the project as additional knowledge and skills are required. This 'just-in-time' approach ensures that learning is balanced by application.

Mentoring Plans
