Unit Overview:

This unit provides an introduction to HTML and its interaction on the Internet. It will not only cover static HTML but will visit how Java Script and other languages may be used to make your presentation more user friendly.

Unit Duration: 16 hours

Unit Objectives:

Students will gain an understanding of HTML and how HTML can be enhanced by using other languages inside and outside of the browser environment.

  • Understand Hypertext Markup Language (HTML)
  • Understand how HTML works with the Web Server
  • Create HTML pages that interact with the Internet
