unit provides an introduction to Java Servlets, comparing it to Java program
development. It also discusses the use of Servlets within the Model View
Controller (MVC) pattern. The unit is designed to prepare the developer
for Servlet development. It will look at Servlets that interact with other
Servlets; as well as with the Hypertext Markup Language (HTML).
