Unit Overview:

This unit provides the skills that Meteor developers and administrators need to handle the important topic of security. Security issues are introduced and the student will learn how these issues have been addressed in the Meteor architecture. This module discusses security related to the LDAP repositories, as well as authentication using SAML and XML Signature.

Unit Duration: 12 hours

Unit Objectives:

Students will learn how to implement Meteor security.

• Understand the object-oriented paradigm and how it differs from traditional, funciton-roented development
• Learn the terminology unique to object-oriented development.
