Unit: Implementation Process and Modeling

Unit Overview:

This unit starts with the results from design and implements the system in terms of components. The role of the implementation process in the software life cycle is examined. UML is used to model the process and the different artifacts produced are examined in detail. This Object-Oriented Design module should follow as the team examines the implementation of the system within the scope of the architectural environment.

Unit Duration: 32 hours

Unit Objectives:

Students will build executable classes and package them into executable implementation packages.

  • Define organization of subsystems
  • Allocate classes to construction iterations
  • Implement classes
