PLATFORM OVERVIEW
DPS — Default Prevention System
DPS is a cloud-based default prevention compliance platform built for Title IV institutions.
In continuous production for over twenty years, managing borrower outreach, resolution tracking, compliance workflows, and generating the DPS Evidence Pack as part of its structured workflow for schools across the country.
This page describes the DPS platform. For draft CDR / program review evidence discipline, see DPS Phase Zero.
In light of Federal Student Aid’s February 18, 2026 announcement (GENERAL-26-12) requesting institutions to update and maintain default management and prevention plans, many institutions are reassessing how they document their default prevention efforts. DPS is structured to support disciplined, defensible documentation within regulated Title IV environments.
What Makes This Different
DPS does the work described above. Phase Zero adds a disciplined way to capture that work as audit-ready evidence — the DPS Evidence Pack.
